"No. I haven't eaten since breakfast yesterday. Apparently the nurse on duty yesterday must have forgotten.  Put that on your chart too" Emily sneared and turned away to face the window.
Janette's eyes widened. "Now isn't that just too bad. I'll have a meal sent up for you ASAP. Meanwhile, here's a granola bar," she pulled a bar from her pocket and threw it to Emily. She pressed her clipboard up against a wall and flipped to the front page. Going down the list, she found 'Emily Moore'. On a blank column across from the name, she scribbled a quick note.

Helena was eating lunch at the cafeteria when a sudden sharp pain coursed through her body. She winced, this had been happening for a day now. But she had been a nurse, and didn't know what was happening. This was something unnatural.
There was only one explanation in her mind, but she simply refused to believe it.

The pain was so severe that she felt she may be sick. So Helena got up and ran to the bathroom, to avoid being sick in front of anyone. But the pain was soon calming down, thankfully.

The granola bar landed next to Emily on the chair. She sat motionless until the woman left the room. As soon as the door clicked shut, she quickly grabbed the granola bar, tore open the package, and she ate it in just 2 bites. "I wonder what that woman was writing about me. She seems nice, but that's what I thought about the Dr too, and he turned out to be a killer. I can't trust anyone in this place." Emily thought to herself.

Emily sat in her corner chair waiting for her lunch and hoping it was something good.

(Originally I had thought that the residents would be able to just wander around. Like, there's a cafeteria, so they can go to it. But if that's not what you want to do don't worry about it, haha.)

(:idunno maybe there's a certain time each day they can, and some have to be accompanied by a nurse )

Janette locked the door behind her then proceeded downstairs. As she walked down, she noticed mold growing in the creases of the stairs. "All that money I gave him and it's turned to this? Geez," she muttered. She decided that after the last checkup before her lunch, she would go talk to the doctor about that. She passed her room and went another floor down before reaching room #57. The door was unlocked and voices could be heard. Janette poked her head in only to find that another nurse was attending the patient whom Janette was supposed to have checked an hour ago. The red headed nurse didn't see her and neither did the patient, so she closed the door and left. She entered the cafeteria and went to order(?) her food.

Thomas had his food, and went to sit down at a table. He had been cooped up in his basement most of the time for a few weeks, he should probably start focusing more on the shelter itself. Because if he stopped managing it as well, things would probably start going wrong. So, now that he was almost done with experimentation and such, he could take a break.

(I'm switching from Dr. Mythe to Thomas randomly. I just don't know what name to pick.

Janette ordered and proceeded down the line to the pickup section. While she waited, she turned her back to the counter and drummed it with her nails in time to a song in her head. She looked around the room to see who was still eating. There was a group of nurses giggling over something at one table together, then several patients each accompanied by one of the staff. A few lonely people dotted the room, one of them she identified as the doctor. Perfect, just whom she needed to talk to. Her food was now ready, so she set it on a tray and took it over to where Dr. Mythe was. Janette set the tray down with a loud bang to get his attention before sitting down across from him. "Hey," she said, smiling slightly.

Dr. Mythe looked up at Janette. "Hello." He said, "How's your day been?"

(Sorry for the short post, haha.)
