Natuan told Mia the story of what happens in the doctors private office "I'm starting to think we would be safer in here then trying to get out, we will just be trapped by those monsters"

"So there are monsters in the forest?" Mia said, shocked. She definitely didn't want to go into the forest now, since she was blind and couldn't even see if something was going to attack her.
"Hm...Maybe we should just stay in here. I mean, I haven't been experimented on yet, and they wouldn't experiment on you. If I just don't make myself that known, then I'll be fine."

At 12:45pm the was a knock on Emily's door. A man in a hairnet came into the room with a tray of food. "Miss Moore, Nurse Janette asked me to bring your lunch up. I will just leave it here on the table for you. I have never seen you in the cafeteria, are you new here?" the man asked. "No"replied Emily. "I am not allowed to go to the cafeteria. They keep my locked in my room all the time." "Well, that's too bad. I hope you enjoy your meal. Good day to you Miss Moore" He said, leaving the room. Emily sat at the table and looked over her lunch .The tray contained a sandwich, which from the odor was egg salad, a bowl of mixed fruit, a few crackers, and a diet Coke. "Well, this isn't too bad" Emily thought. When she was done eating she sat on her bed watching the trees of the forest swaying in the breeze, and wished she could feel the wind on her face.

(strange world?)

"Wait...The nurses weren't taking care of one of the patients?? Which one was it?" Dr. Mythe asked urgently. He knew Emily Moore was on the third floor, and she could prove useful if she fully trusted him. But if the nurses were just going to neglect her and end up starving her to death, he might as well just experiment on her and not waste space. But he'd rather use her for other reasons.
"It was a young girl by the name of Emily Moore," Janette stated. "Oh, and a janitor needs to be sent up immediately to clean up a mirror that fell in her room."

"all right" Nathan said, still a little on edge

"Okay. Well, I'll go do that." Dr. Mythe said and stood, taking his food tray and throwing it away. He left the cafeteria, and thought about how much he wanted to kill the nurse that was supposed to be taking care of Emily.

"So, can you quit the job? I mean, if you quit, then you can leave this horrid place and not have to worry about monsters or anything like that." Mia suggested.

Janette watched him leave, pleased that he listened and was actually going to do something about it. She finished her French fries and ginger ale, but tossed her burger in the trash. Next time she met with Thomas she'd discuss the food problem in-depth. She grabbed a couple granola bars from the basket on the counter and headed to her room to change.

" what if I quit and they don't let me leave, or worse they let me leave but they won't let me take you with me"

"Of course they won't let you take me with you, but your well being is still important. You can't save everyone." Mia told him simply. She didn't even know if the staff were 'cared for' poorly, but she didn't want Nathan to be stuck doing something he didn't like doing for the rest of his life.
