Janette flashed him a thin smile before leaving and closing the door gently behind her. Once outside, she stopped and took a deep breath, then clasped a hand over her mouth and let out a quiet giggle. Assistant nurse: it sounded so nice. And to be in on everything. All, or most, of Thomas's secrets revealed to her, all the knowledge she now held. Knowledge was power, and power was, well, fabulous. She checked her watch again and realized she needn't be in such a hurry as she thought. She also realized she still hadn't eaten all day, so to the cafeteria she would go first.

Nathan patrolled the halls when he came acrossed Janette "Hello" he said

Mia continued to walk around, her hand not bleeding as much but the glass still firmly in place. She was calmed down now, but felt rather ill. She had bled quite a lot, for only hurting her hand.

She listened to everything, all of the new noises. None of that nagging silence in her room. It was something new, to keep her distracted from her troubles.

Of course, she wasn't allowed out of her room, but surely nobody would notice her.

Thomas went into his lab to study the humanoids a little more. The more he understood them, the smoother this plan would work out.

Janette entered the now quiet and nearly empty cafeteria. She stepped in line behind a nurse and her patient and looked around them to see what the kitchen had to offer today. Nothing new, and probably nothing fresh.
After ordering, Janette took her full plate and glass of water over to a table in the corner. She wanted to be able to think over and take notes on the recent conversation alone. She didn't have her notepad, but a plain white napkin would do.

Serena had been working for a long time, running back in fourth here and there.she decid to walk to he caffateariea.she ordered a turkey sandwich.she walked in the dining room and saw a empty table she sat down and took a bite of the sandwich,"ick"she said, but she ae it anyway.

Janette folded the napkin, covered in neat even writing, and placed it beside the plate. She returned the pen to where it had been behind her ear and quickly finished her cold meal of chicken salad and stale French fries.
She wrote down as much as she could before the pen ran dry, which wasn't long. At least the majority of what she wanted to write had been put down.
She cleaned up her plate and table and went to her room to change for evening rounds.

Mia wandered curiously through the shelter, and it seemed her nurse couldn't manage to find out where she was.

Relying on sound and partially touch, she found the entertainment room and sat down in a chair, breathing in the fresh air. Well, fresher than her dusty bedroom.
