Emily spent the whole afternoon with her nose in her book. When she finally looked up, it was beginning to get dark out. "Crud, I missed lunch and dinner." Emily thought. She decided to go to the cafeteria and see if there was anything edible left. Only a few people remained, one she recognised as Nurse Serena, who was sitting alone looking like she was about to gag on her food. Emily looked at the selection of leftover food on the counter and decided on a soggy egg salad sandwich and sad looking cold french fries. She sat at an empty table near the door, with her back to the other occupants of the room and choked down her food. She looked out at the hallway at the picture on the wall. It was a scenic view of a mountain lake. "I sure wish I was there" Emily thought. "What is that on the wall? Is that blood?" Emily wondered. She dumped the rest of her food and returned her tray. She had to get a closer look at that wall. It was indeed a smear of blood. Emily looked around the hallway. A little further down there was another one. Emily followed the smears until they stopped by the entertainment room. The linoleum floor had a few spots of blood on it, leading to one of the chairs, where a young woman sat. Emily cautiously approached the woman and saw that her hand was injured and covered in mostly dried blood, with what looked like shards of glass sticking out.
"Oh my gosh! Are you okay?" Emily asked as she looked around the room to see if anyone else was there.

Mia faced the direction the voice was coming from.
"Yes...I'm fine. Just made a mistake." She said quietly and calmly, ignoring her bloody hand.

Serena looked at her.she dumed her food in the trash and returned to her room.

(Yep. I've just not had any good ideas worth posting about for Janette XD )
(Just make a bunch of boring progress until she can talk to Thomas again or something.

Janette finished doing her rounds. Janette did stuff. Janette did some more stuff. Janette ate a granola bar. Janette tidied her room. Janette ate some gum, chewed said gum, then spit out gum. Janette had a beat boxing tournament with her goldfish because she was bored.

Wait. Wait wait wait. Ignore that last sentence.
