I've got pneumonia.
3 days spent in a very nice room...like a upgraded hotel...flat screen tv and dark wood furniture and laminate floors and a couch and recliner in sage green---wallpaper and all. Very lovely room.
I was put in a smaller room with a blipping tv and at 3:30 am the maintenance man pulled some strings and got me in this bigger room. What guy.
I thought I was just coming down with the flu that my 2 little girls just got over. It started to really hurt to breathe and I had shortness of breath and was worried about my heart.
They checked my heart, ran x-rays and ct scan... had lots of pvc's and they were worried there could be a blood clot... so than the results came back and said I the pneumonia I had was more comprehensive then they thought and they admitted me.
Here I am at home and very thankful and blessed to be home.
Probably the most painful part besides hurting when I breathed was the potassium drip they had me on since my electrolytes were to low for their liking... that stuff burns! It was agony...9+ hours of agony but they helped me get through that with some pain meds. uh, whee. giggle giggle.
So there you have it... where maple has been in the last 3 days.
hugs,
gretch
