Condolences, he was a pretty bird.

Quick question. You say that you suspected he died from a heart attack. How was the body positioned when you found him? The reason I ask is that I've found roosters dead, lying on their backs, feet in the air and doing research read that was a sign of a heart attack in a chicken.

From what I recall he was lying on the ground, leaning heavily on his right side. His legs were partially stretched out behind him. His head was in a position hard to describe.... close to the body but twisted. His face was sort of leaning into the dirt.
If that makes sense??
He wasn't in a position like he died napping or taking a dust bath. He was mostly on his side and his neck was kind of distorted. There was absolutely no mistaking that he was dead from a distance.
