Keep us posted on your progress and results.

Hooligans... didn't you just feel like you could do a Marha show as well as she? I even started to take photos like MissP ... until my husband walked in and saw me perched on a chair over the stove with a camera dangling from my hand... staring into a pot of milk with a thermometer sticking out of it!

Not a pretty sight~ ! See what you have to look forward to dogzrule5? Just too much fun!

Again, I have to repeat myself....Miss Prissy is an amazing person. She has guided us all to doing things we thought were impossible and built up our confidence. Bravo and hats off to Miss P.

Thank you all. Isn't that the way we are supposed to be? Uplifting and empowering one another to venture out of our comfort zones and experimenting with new things that we can do ourselves without needing someone to do it for us? It is us that set the expample and should be teaching younger women following us how to do things on their own as well. women don't nuture one another enough these days. Too much competition to be someone or have something someone else isn't and doesn't have.

I only try to inspire and help. I have moved out of my comfort zone with hatching goose eggs and gunieas and ducks and may even yet try quail. You all inspire me to do things better and to venture farther than I normally would. Thank you to all of you because you inspire me!

Sis says it "might" have come from Trader's Point Creamery Yogurt (we know it's available at select grocery stores in midwest and on east coast). She's not sure because she's had it for several years and keeps freezing ice cube trays of it to use for the next batch.

ok, i love this yogurt recipe and have made many batches,
i am running into a snag though and wonder if anyone has a solution or suggestion.
i am trying to make flavored batches as treats for the kids and hubby for work lunch, but the flavoring separates and goes to the top of the jar. like if i use pudding mix, whether i add it with the milk and heat it or add it when i add the yogurt starter...
what am i doing wrong?
i have convinced several of my friends to try this recipe and they just love it!!'
thanks for any suggestions.

I have used real vanilla bean in mine and only noticed it when it came to the top when I used fresh raw milk. That was due to the fact that there was still some cream in the milk. But the flavoring was throughout the yogurt....just much better in the top part. LOL

I tried to add pudding in mine, also. It tasted good, but it was runny, so I figured I did something wrong.

If anyone has had success when adding pudding, please tell us how you did it.

Right now, I had either apple or peach pie filling. It tastes awesome.
I've also added sugar and vanilla and the yogurt tastes soooo good.
