Homestead harvest non GMO feed

Hi all,
I'm wondering if you can give me your opinion on this feed? It is from a local farmer. Here's the analysis:

What concerns me is that there is DE in this feed and I have heard very conflicting opinions on this. What is your opinion please?

I was told DE gets added to feed to kill off grain mites.

That feed looks good to me.
Like everything else DE has lovers and haters. I'm a lover. I use food grade DE in feed for all the animals. It goes into the dust baths, and a sprinkle in the nest boxes. A little goes a long way.

I've found their customer service to be very fast and friendly. I had a few questions about using this with my ducks and they were very informative. I follow them on instagram now and have started incorporating their feed into our routine. So far so good. We've been happy.
