Harvesting that honey without the proper tools is proving difficult

Can I just cut it into squares and zip lock it???

lol,,, we cleaned our hive out in the summer,,, who wudda thunk 10 gallons of honey would attract bees from 50 miles away

mostly in the books i've read bees travel up to 10 miles for water/food.

but heck ya...you'll get AAALLL the neighborhood bees, wasps....stealing honey when you leave exposed and unguarded honey sitting out.


and yes...comb honey is what you would have if you cut it into squares and put it in a receptacle...i've used my mason jars.

I've never chewed comb honey, but my mouth is watering just thinking about it!!

i used to LOVE honey,, till we did the rip-out,, there was soooo much, and we did from the inside,, that it BURNT my nose

now i can have a spoonfull, and thats bout it

I haven't been able to get my hands on comb honey in forever. If you're willing to part with some of the lighter and golden colored honeys, lemme know your asking price.

wow that is amazing I have never seen anything like it. I just shoed SO and said that in his building/renovating if he ever came across something like that to call me right away

Those are some amazing pictures.

I have always loved bees even though my family and friends always thought I was nuts. They seem to think that bees are out only to chase after people and sting them!

I grow basil's to attract bees. They really love African Blue basil and the Thai's that I grow. I wonder what the honey from those plants would taste like?
