Fenrir had whimpered when he heard the shot but he did not want to leave his mate, he did not want to risk her getting hurt and so he stayed put, hoping someone had taken care of it. He kept glancing at Angel's belly, sometimes thinking it looked a little rounder and at other times chiding himself in getting his hopes up.

Orchid snarled with dead ferocity and leapt at Amber, she was very strong for her size, a gift from her wolf sized pack and her size made her very fast. "I thought I had a friend for once, heh. But who was I kidding, you're just like the rest of them! Weak, pathetic," Orchid spoke with dead eyes and no emotion in her voice. The friendly, calm, and cowardly Orchid was gone for who knew how long.

Amber pushed Orchid aside. "I am a friend if you choose. But please, let's not fight. I don't want anyone to get hurt. Tell me that I'm a coward if you want, but you'll soon learn what 'coward' 'weak' and 'pathetic' mean."

Orchid laughed without emotion, "You think I don't know? Ha!" She laughed again without humor. "And why shouldn't we fight? Pray tell me, I'm beginning to enjoy this," she laughed hysterically without humor.
