Four weeks old now. We had three other bantams from that assorted bantam bin at a local small farm store that managed to get one shipment from Hoovers hatchery before they stopped sending chicks out.

All three passed away. This is the only one to survive. So sad.

I want to say it’s an OEGB but I’m not familiar with this color pattern.

Any ideas what breed and sex it is? Seems to act like a pullet so far.

The other chicks in the photos are similar age perhaps a week older. They are our own barnyard mixes. Rooster that sired them is either the Marans Deathlayer mix (Hans) or our White American Bresse (Screamer). The buff Orpington mix definitely has Hans feathered legs. Grey/Blue is likely prairie bluebell ever Bresse mix, other brown one is Easter egger mix.

Unimportant description of the LF with the bantam: Based upon the white cockerel's growth and the tiny feathers on his feet, he must have been a result of Hans (our mixed breed Marans x Deathlayer mix) and perhaps a White Rock. I know that when we mix White Rock with anything else it tends to produce a meat-style bird. Sadly Mr. Butters will not be staying with us for long, his knees (not sure of correct anatomical term) are NOT okay, they go out of joint with each step. It's sad. So, that's the genetic makeup of the white chick. The brown chick on the right, I'm confused by. Not sure which one it is, but it's appears bearded. I have only one chicken that has a beard and it's my SL Polish. I do have an EE, so maybe it's an EE mix? Or older lineage popping through with my (now sold) Prairie Bluebell Egger (don't they have Auracana in their line? Can they be bearded?).

:weeThe little one we are actually talking about here is the one in the middle. lol
So dang tiny. So dang cute. She is about 3 weeks younger than the LF chicks. I believe the LF to be 10 weeks of age. I know I bought the bantams on April 10th, and they were only less than a week old at purchase. So, counting the weeks it would make her nearly 7 weeks of age.

I took some video today to better show her size and mannerisms. Here it is -->

Their spangled are probably from when they bought Privett hatchery. They might not have it listed if they only sell in assortments due to not having as many chicks of that breed as other breeds.
