Crowing
I was able to snap a pic of his poop
The pic makes the shade look brighter than in person, but is this regular looking enough cecal or is something truly amiss?

I know, and I know it is sometimes the nature of the thing but it doesn't help make it easier to understand. The necropsy is next, this is my 4th bird to die over the course of the year since about June that I cannot explain. Hopefully the necropsy provides answers.Sorry for your loss...sometimes they just don't make it.
Having a necrospy done with labs is the only way to know for sure what the problem was.
Sometimes a DIY necrospy will tell the tale.
Birds often don't show symptoms until they are really sick and there's just not time to diagnose and treat.
I have him wrapped outside, we are in the 30s for awhile so I'm keeping him wrapped and safe from predation till the lab calls me back.Freeze the body of you haven't already since it will be a few days
