Hopeful Hatch-a-Long

Pics
#6 has pipped! BUT, it pipped on the bottom near the floor of the incubator, is that bad??? It is on the correct (blunt/wide) side of the eggs, but it is facing down. I don't know if the air cell is there I don't want the little guy to drown. I have read that they should be facing the top of the incubator when they pip, and people said to reach in real fast and turn the egg. However, I think I could rotate the egg so the pip is facing up without opening the incubator. This egg is near the vent, and I could stick a pipe cleaner in there to gently roll it until the pip is facing up. Should I do that?

It’s probably fine to leave as is

Gooo Radar! I wouldn't worry about it too much, the air cell is most likely just not facing up. If the chick has pipped externally then it has pipped into the air cell. Chicks drown from pipping outside of the air cell when the pip internally, which you can't see.
He was wiggling a little after pipping so he must be getting some air! Woohoo! I bet we will see some chicks tomorrow!! :woot

I got some eggs in the incubator too!
