Hoping she didn't break her leg

So I'm gong to try to load some pictures. She's still going strong, eating drinking and even getting into the coop to lay eggs. We took her wrap off and checked her. Any injury is deffinatly to the foot area she is moving both upper joints. She is starting to move her toes but it's still very limited. Good news is the blue kote does seem to have helped prevent any possible infections from the abbrassions but I lathered her leg up with some antibiotic ointment today just in case. She has been panting which I'm not sure if from stress or pain it's been warmer the past few days but only in the 80s and she is still eating and drinking. Overall, I'm still hoping she recovers fully but at least right now she is showing signs of improvement .

I'll try to upload more pics soon, my phone is acting up

She has some bruising on that foot.
You can soak it in warm water and Epsom salts. Just don't let her drink it...lol
Maybe 10-20 minutes a couple of times a day if she tolerates it well. Some really seem to enjoy a soak.lol
Question.. any heat in that foot?

I can check it again it felt warm but not really any warmer then her other foot. Not hot

Ok. Just keep an eye on it. If you start feeling "fever" in it, she may need antibiotics. Some people have access to that at feed stores others are required a prescription. Depends on where ya live really...

My understanding is California just recently took antibiotics off the shelves so i would have to find a vet if that's the case
