So very sorry Hoppy is gone. I just saw this thread and read all the posts and the whole way through I was rooting for the oh-so-terrifically-cute little guy. I gathered from the descrip of what happened that they are not shut indoors for the night. Such a shame this happened when you were trying so hard to give him the extra TLC he needed. You made a truly dedicated effort to ensure he could get the food and water he needed, while also having the company of feathered friends the rest of the time.
