Well, Beaker and I went to a chamber music concert last night. He reminded me about his seat belt, although I think he really needs a booster seat. He thinks I need to clean the frosting off my seat.
I told him it's a working truck!
We couldn't take flash pictures at the concert, but Beaker thought it was very long, and finally fell asleep. When we got home, he needed a little bedtime snack to get sleepy again.
Then it was time for bed.
In the morning, Beaker wanted to have breakfast in bed with my other cat, Rennie. I told him that Rennie can't eat in bed, but I would bring him a bagel and orange juice.
After breakfast, we realized that sunny California was pretty cold outside. We borrowed a sweater for Beaker from one of the resident bears, and off we went.
When we got there, Beaker helped me make some copies.
Then we were off to class. The chorus was pleased to meet Beaker.
Sorry I have to block out the kids' eyes so they can't be identified. It's one of those teacher things.
The kids asked for Beaker to listen to them sing, and give his opinion.
Beaker liked their singing, but wanted company in that big auditiorium.
The kids taught Beaker about concert protocol, all the stuff you can't do during a concert, like talking, quacking, or walking around during the music.
One student, Matthew, wanted to play something for Beaker on the piano.
The rest of the day we went from school to school. Beaker ate my snacks, and wanted to come home. Now he's taking a nap. I think it was a long day for such a little guy. I'll wake him for dinner in a bit. Then, who knows what the evening will bring...
