Hey, I have an old friend named Paula that lives in Remsenburg, her and her husband are very tall people. Last time I talked to her, she was raising some kind of miniature goats.

Really nice set-up Bryan! I love the barn, but if I tried to make one like that it would end up looking liek a chicken alcatraz.
My dad knew some people in Remsenburg years ago.

Kelly/Purplebaby, my husband grew up on Lake Panamoka in Ridge. I grew up in Miller Place but we moved to TN 14 years ago. Karen. my MIL was a nurse at Cenral Suffolk for years.

Foamspoon, I just remembered their last name, Dwi, spelling may be off. We were nurses together at SBUH, and friends with alot in common. The daughter's name may be Christy, but I could be wrong about that.

Kelly, I did live behind the main fire station, two blocks down behind it, on Elizabeth way. We lived in a house with a very big front yard and a red rock driveway.

Kelly, I delivered Newsday in Panamoka for 10 years, 1982-1992, knew most people there.

Did the Hildebrands ever deliver your paper, probably in the 1980's?

i only moved here last yr to ridge on deer leap. i love it here, i grew up in patchogue, and lived in coram, then east yaphank.... this is a great neighborhood and soooo quiet. its like patchogue in the "old days".........

Deer Leap rd, well, can you see a red barn behind your house, or are you across from the pond? I used to walk part of my 2 miles on Deer Leap, nice little pond. I used to ride the trails back there.

Holy cow its weird how many people lived in Ridge.
I'm Panamoka on Wauwepex Trail-across the street from the lake. There are two other people I know of in Panamoka with chickens. Lots of people near Deer leap have them, I go garage saling over there all the time. I know where Elizabath is too!!!
We love it here, we've only been here since 2004. Your set up looks great foamspoon!
