Houdans

Thanks for the e-mail addy, I read somewhere he gives preference to 4-h children and those who work w/ them, but if he has the eggs he does let others get some too.

Raising up 8 more Mottled Houdans right now. Ages vary from 2 weeks - 5 weeks.

One of the older ones. Everyone is doing really well. They were very skittish when I got them, but zucchini helps that ;) They LOVE it.

idk where you live but the 25th of this month i am picking up a bunch of eggs from him and will be coming back south to FT smith and then to Conway and then back up to Clinton... so if that is closer to you i could share some off the eggs i get...
Are they fairly easy to get from Dr. Bramwell? I'm probably going to get eggs from either banjoe (if he has them) or Dr. Bramwell if I can. It is a couple of hour drive for me, but would be worth it.

He sent me his number when he email responded.

Elias, I am looking for someone to pick up and send me eggs. I am in Maine so there is a snowball's chance of me ever picking up eggs from him. He did say I could have some, and his email was prompt, so maybe I caught him on a good day. Is anyone in here willing to take a chance on this with me?

Sounds like me.. in a way. Roads are different here.

We drive a few hours pay 90$ in gas and about 70$ in tolls to pick up 50 cent eggs and 1$ birds.
I can only imagine what a trip from Maine would be to get them.

I do have a question, as I have no idea how purebred my birds are. Did the large head feathers come in really early? My rooster seems to have stopped at a mullet instead of the full rockstar look.
