When using the turner, how easy is it to take the turner out on day 18? What do you do with the eggs during transition? Mike

When I used the auto turner in the hovabator I would just move them to clean egg cartons to remove the turner and then lay them down on the wire once the turner was removed.

I bought mine for $146.95 including shipping at www.strombergschickens.com. Once I added in shipping, the other websites costs more. But if you live closer to the places that sell them, your shipping could be cheaper. Good luck.

I was using an LG forced air for hatching. Near the end, I simply left them in the 1588, unplugged the autoturner and added water to the second water tray. I had no issues with hatching this way. Of course, you are better off if you unplug it when it's even.
