How Big A Compressor for Home Shop?

roll the coop on its side and roof and bottom as needed until its finished. a rope over the top and attached to a car auto pull it just fine.

I really like my 30 gallon Kobalt compressor frome lowes. Have gotten very fond of the kobalt tools and my son says they really stand behind the broken tool replacement to the point of cannibalising a complete kit off the shelf or just switching out the kit for kit. I also could not survive without my dewalt cordless 20v tools. have most of them the 4 inch grinder really sucks down the batteries but for everything else the batteries last a long long time and have huge torque/power output. Kobalt now has a line of 20v cordless tools I'd probably have went with those if they had been available when I bougfht now I don't want to add another battery style. OH and the cordless 20v dewalt chainsaw is absolutely awesom for a small property owner. We do use the pneumatic nailers and stuff but mostly if it is away from the garage I just use screws and the little impact driver it is also the bomb. Dewalt or Kobalt Or even craftsman (I have the bolt on set which is nice too) a cordless tool set and a half dozen batteries are a must.

How is it on battery life? I'm running the Makita cordless tools, almost sprung for the chain saw, but from the reviews it sounded like the battery life was terrible.

I feel it is more than adequate for what I do granted I take severall or all of my batteries when I go to use it for me I'm worn down to a frazzle before I"m out of batteries. But I"m only good for 3 or 4 hours a day. But I tore into a blow down and with cutting cord wood size peices from anything over 2 inches It pretty much got me done except for the pick up cleanup portion and a few of the bigger pieces needed more cutting. the tree was about 8 inches where it broke off but started branching off about 4 feet from where it broke. I would guess that at about a half a truck load of wood. and Have 3 of the larger size batteries and 6 of the regular size batteries. Batteries seem to charge quickly if I took the first two big ones back when they ran down they would be mostly charged by the time I ran down and headed back with the dead ones. I have three chargers so It will still be going when I'm done done.
