This is miss daisy, I just got her yesterday from someone. She said that the roosters kept mounting her and this is the damage. My questions are
1. what can I put on the wounds to help her?
2. Will her feathers come back?

I have a Millie duccle that’s twice as small as her, he kept trying to mount her a few times but she retaliates and I don’t think he will keep trying. But I want to help her out as best as I can. Thank you!

BluKote spray (from feed stores) can be good to spray on her red wounds, as long as they are not too deep, to keep the others from pecking at the red. Her feathers probably won’t grow back until she has her first big molt. I have made some no sew fleece hen saddles for that. Most of the time when adding a new hen, it is good to quarantine them for a month to make sure they are not showing signs of an illness. I also worm them, and look for any lice or mites, or scaly leg mites.
