How can I save a dying quail?

Adult male quail is weak, skinny and not eating much. What can I do to help him? He's 18 months old.

You'll need to get fluids and food into him. If he's drinking on his own, you can add electrolytes to his water. For food I would grind/mash up his regular feed and add some water to it, and see if you can get him eating that. Have you tested for parasites? Is he in with other males that may be keeping him from the food? Other people will be on shortly to help more I'm sure.

He's the only male. Just recently someone recommended I add cooked rice to his diet, so I feed it to him daily...which he loves, btw. Hope that's not bad for him. I also add Vita-Sol multivitamins to his water. For being blind, he always seemed energetic, strong and healthy until just recently. I thought perhaps it was due to his age but now I hear the average lifespan is 2-3 yrs. So, definitely something must be wrong. I want to thank u so much for ur time and advice. Appreciate it.
