How come USPS always takes forever with the things you want most -

Normally it takes over night to get my birds when they are shipped. Shipper was surprised that they said over night also and I should have them today by 3. Well.... that came and went ....and many calls to the PO and still no babies. I am so worried about them...... tracking has not been updated since 12:30 am....... ugh.... figures.... I REALLY want these birds.....

Over the past year, I have yet to have anything arrive next day. The PO here only guarantees 2nd day for Express since they never get there next day and they got tired of refunding all the shipping all of the time.
