How did we do for our first coop? Any suggestions? Almost finished

Making a homemade automatic door now. just picked up linoleum for floor. Ramp, roosting bars and finish boxes this weekend. Will post that when complete. Appreciate any comments/advice, especially if you all see something wrong. This will be our first flock. Thanks everyone!

Very nice! Are the under sides of your eaves open for ventilation? Is the window fully functional? Hardware cloth on the inside? What kind of ladies did you get and how many? I know I'm just full of questions, lol...

Thanks. 6’x12’ total. 4’x6’ for the hen house.

Windows are fully functional. Cloth on the inside. Have a few circular vents lower and the hen house run side gable is vented. Henhouse has a ridge vent. We are hopefulily picking them up this weekend, 3 Rhode island reds and three Easter eggers.

The way the hinges are placed on the nesting box area looks like it opens from the bottom?

Where are you located?
I don't see any ventilation besides the window in the coop.
That may turn into a problem quickly.

I agree with Kiki. Cut some holes in that big door that opens up and out, hardware cloth them, let the girls breathe! This is what hubby and I did... The run has been expanded another 8x4 feet after this picture

It does Open from the bottom and flips all the way up
