How do all of you deal with future laws banning the ownership of chickens?

How do not worry or how do you not get stressed out about if someday in the future the local, state, or federal government bans us from having poultry as pets? This may seem a bit far out, but in today's world, there are some activists like PETA who are pushing for something like this.

I don’t worry about it either, I’m too far out in the country. If I was ever in a situation where I wasn’t able to keep my flock, I’d probably try egg-bribery… and then cause a scene.

That’s the best advice I’ve heard so far that makes me feel better. Thanks.
I said the same to hubby when he admits to worrying that one day he might lose his job. Yes, that is a likely possibility given that most people don't stay at one company their entire careers. So I told him he can worry about it, but if the company goes under there's nothing he as a single individual can do to change that. But what he can do is be prepared for the possibility by keeping his resume and certificates up to date, continuously networking with others in the field, having savings to weather the stretch, etc.

Best to concentrate your worries on what you can affect, not what you can't.
