How do I keep the run dry

The nesting box is where the hens will lay their eggs. It can be off the floor, but should be lower than the roost. Otherwise, they may try to sleep in the nest box, and that will be very dirty for the eggs.

Okay Can the nesting box be a little bit like an inch higher than the floor
Yes. As long as it is dry the nest box can be at floor level and then the roost must be higher than the nest box. You need at least one foot from the top of the roost bar to the roof so the chickens have space to stand upright.
And most important the whole thing needs ventilation so air can circulate which will carry damp outside. The ventilation should be as high up as you can make it. Above the chickens heads when they are on the roost bar.

Ok! So the top of the wall ventilation I need more

You lack the basic knowledge needed to care for chickens.I get that your still learning, so am I, but that 'coop' is not safe for any animal other than a rat to live in. The 'coop' is tiny, and for everyone else to fully understand your problems, you need to post clear pictures of their coop.Read a few threads, ask a few questions and you will understand that this is not a safe place for chickens to live!

If s/he lacked the basic knowledge to care for chickens, how would s/he know what questions to ask us?

OP wants to do what's best for their chickens, and came here looking for guidance. Their parents likely built this coop.
