*Sigh* I was excited about coturnix too. My next hatch is going to be only buttons. Sure, buttons are cute, but after meeting a bunch of coturnix over the weekend, I REALLY, REALLY wanted to have my own (and of course, nobody that had them this weekend had any for sale, lol). I would have even taken adults. *Sigh* Whelp, I'm going to order a new batch once I get a 1588 with all of the extra accessories, then hopefully I'll get something to hatch out, and then I'll hopefully be swarming in coturnix babies! Until then, button eggs will have to hold me over, lol.

I hope you are Blessed with a bunch of the coturnix. If I had any (or even knew what they were) I would send you some. I bet your buttons will cheer you up until you get the desired ones!

You know if ALL three of my hens were laying (2 are) I'd send you out some in a second! I don't know exactly where you live, but by all means this spring/summer you can come and visit me and I'll give ya eggies and sell ya birdies LOL!

Lol. If worst comes to worse, I will be able to pick chicks up from Chris down the street later in the spring. Either way, darn it, I WILL have my coturnix, lol.

I'm so disappointed that I haven't even called hubby to check for pips, because I don't have any hope that there will be any.

I'm going to crack some open to see where they were when they fried, but I'll give them another two days or so, just in case.

Lol. He used to ask me to call him all the time, but I just shoot him emails and he responds. I only ever call to let him know that we'll be there in ten minutes, and when we get there if he's nowhere to be found, lol. I hate talking on the phone too, I work in a calling center, so in my free time, I avoid using the phone like the plague, lol. But, yeah, if you just keep sending emails, he will respond.

And, yup, we're about ten minutes from him.
