How do I make a chicken coop? Does anyone have any ideas how to make a simple or cheap chicken coop? I’m looking for cheap or homemade chicken coop ideas. I have 4 chickens currently I’m planning to get more in the future so if anyone has nice ideas please let me know. Thanks for reading.

I can give you the generic answer, and tell you to look at the coop section. While you will get many ideas there, I understand wanting a specific answer. So here I go!
Fasten together pallets, and slap on a few pieces of plywood. TSC will usually sell them for a dollar each.
Use a trampoline or swing set frame.
Start with a shed or playhouse. Sometimes you can get a display model.

Welcome to BYC. Ready made coops & coop kits, are usually nice looking BUT, often made of cheap materials that will not hold up to the weather. They also may claim to comfortably house a certain number of birds, when in fact it's too crowded for half that number.

Please DO check out the BYC Coop & run forum. There are many types, sizes, etc. You may find just the right one for your own flock. Build your own, or have someone build for you.

If you add your general location to your profile, it will help a lot, because we will have an idea of what your weather is like. The one common thing for coops, is to have plenty of ventilation in all climates.
