how do races horse cross ther legs when walking/trotting/running?

is it gens or training? i have been wanting to know since we own a 22 year old x quarter horse racer (she is a quarter mile racer, and there are still horses that are train to do that, yes, through bred are not the other racers) that is a retired barrel racer (ya right

) and she crosses her leg over (front legs ) like a beauty pageant queen LOL
 
Since I can't figure out what you are talking about, maybe you have a photo?

Without knowing what you are talking about, I'd say that crossing the legs while moving would be a serious flaw, so I certainly wouldn't try to train them to do it. It sounds like you are talking about weaving or plaiting.

If you mean something else, either more explanation or better yet, some photos.
 
Is she gaited? Peruvian Pasos come to mind. they would do a termino, paddling.....but this don't look like it.

Otherwise I agree with above post about plaiting or weaving, a very serious fault. I've seen riding horses like that and they are more prone to falls due to clumsiness.
