How do you get your chores done if you are on BYC so much???

My husband wonders every day how anything ever gets done. Usually I put up a baby gate give her a bottle and snack while I am on BYC. Then I start feeding and cleaning, and cooking, etc. when the rest get off the bus and can help or when the little one goes to sleep.

You can get a job like mine and then catch up with BYC while at work. Right now I am in SoCal doing work for the government. I have been here almost 3 weeks and my poor wife is stuck with all the chores. Oh and BTW I only work a few weeks at a time and then I make my company send me home from where ever I am. When I am home I check BYC after coffee and my morning reading, look only at the newest posts on the threads that I prefer and then it is off to take care of the animals or build fences. I think that I have bought every animal that my wife wants. Don't let her know that I want them too! It also helps to be retired from your first job at 39 and then work as a consultant. I have the greatest life and the best wife of anyone! Its cool to be me!

I am procrastinating.

Actually, I get the chores organized in such a way that I get little stretches of time with nothing to do. Then I sit around and read or whatever. Right now, my last load of laundry is drying and the dishes are soaking for the dishwasher.

Normally the dogs wake me up at 5-5:30am, so I get up and do a bunch of chores then. I get one long break 9-11:30, another 1-4. It's just a time management thing.

Although at the moment, DH and I are arguing over whose job it is to vacuum, and he seems to be determined that the dust bunnies will gross me out before he will pick up the vacuum. I may sacrifice my tea-and-BYC time for 20 minutes...
