How do you handle unwanted evangelists who knock at your door?

I am not religious at all!! far from it... What I don't understand is why they try to push there faith on everyone??
Yeah granted if I wanted to be "saved" then fine but dont cone around to my house preaching in happy with my life full of sin.

Maybe Islam? they are the fastest growing religion in the world for a reason. How about the rational and reasonable system of agnosticism... or atheism?

Wicca makes the most sense of everything I've read so far. Of course I'm not terribly well read on religion. I like the way Wicca isn't structured and doesn't seem to be based on collecting money. Paganism in general makes the most sense. JMO

I just stumbled on this thread, I did not read the whole thing, dont need to.
My experieince with cloning of the ideals of invasive and controlling religions, is simple. Its nice to know you believe in something, but I am fully aware, of the possibitities. More than two disturbances of my life for the reason of forcing a view upon me, is a PITA, and will be treated that way.

I will expose my self here: Yes my time is valuable to me, repeated disturabance and interuptions of function, even sleep, will make me angry, and unfriendly. I find more GOD to listen to in the trees, the stones, and animals that greet me dailly, than going to a flamboyant structure of waste, and arrogance. These people seek control, and earthly money. I simply try to understand and work with the web of life, I am part of.

So begone! In my ways, these people are a predator, as much a Fox or Wolf, around MY flock. They TAKE and do not HELP.

Those things convinced me to not be a Christian, so I'm not really interested in hearing anything further. But they don't want to speak to me once I open the door, so I guess for me it's not an issue.
