How do you heal gout

i have a chicken and I’m pretty sure it has gout, it’s in pain and I need to heal it’s ankle does anyone know how to heal it?!

With gout, you should be able to feel, if not actually see, the urate crystals just under the skin. Feel the lump and see if you feel anything.

It feels like fat but it hurts her to walk on it do you know what it could be

A few years ago I had a pet buff Orpington rooster who had gout. It's difficult to treat in a chicken because there is no way to make him eat and drink what he needs to. I did a LOT of research and I believe I needed to get him to drink things to acidify the blood to dissolve the urate crystals.

He ended up passing away.

That does not look like gout to me, although I have only seen it in books. Usually, both feet are swollen. A fatty tumor might be a possibility.

Do you know what I could do to get rid of the tumour?

You would probably need to see a vet who could possibly surgically remove it.

Do you know any nurses? I have had nurse friends that are very eager to practice surgical techniques on my chickens.
