How Do You Like Your Eggs

edit: weird, never heard of the eggs in toast called that...we always called them Eggs in Toast lol I have always seen Toad in the Hole (in the UK) as usually sausages in yorkshire pudding. Interesting how the names and meanings change!

That is funny. Especially since I grew up in Snohomish, just down the road from where you are. It would make more sense if the name changed by region, but it seems to be more random than that.

tough choice

hard boiled if by themselves

over easy if with bacon/sausage on a biscuit

cheese omlete with onions, salsa, hash browns in a tortilla

my fav is scrambled with garlic and cheese and then wrapped in a tortilla with hot sauce....mmmmmmmmm.

funny our toad in hole is called eggs in a basket in my neck of the woods. but i think toad in the hole is much more appetizing!

Scrambled with all sorts of veggies.

Found this recipe that I have been using lately that pretty good.

Ingredients
3 large whole eggs (or 4 medium size
2 tablespoons unrefined coconut oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, or to taste
2-4 table spoons of honey (to your taste)
2 to 2 ½ cups of boiled water

Other spices can be added to suit your taste, i.e. ground clove, allspice, ginger, etc.

Preparation
Boil water.
Put all ingredients in a blender except the water.
Carefully pour in boiled water last [the amount of water can be more or less, depending upon whether you like a thin or thick drink].
Close the cover well, pulse it at first, and then blend for 15-20 seconds.

Pour into glass and enjoy.

fried, over easy, with two pieces of toast, butter, a cup of tea and a small oj.... maybe a little jam too. The very best! Don't care if it's for breakfast, lunch or dinner, just great anytime.

Why did I have to look at this thread!? Now I am craving eggs and my hens are all on strike (molting and broody). These egg dishes all sound yummy!
