wine-dot I have a friend that breeds these. He taught me how to pronounce it.....I totally murdered it LOL.

I will tell you with 100% authority that any english breed of chicken, sheep or cow will not be pronounced properly here in the US.

My mother was born in Herefordshire. The cows from there are Herefords.

But, go to any breeder here in the US and they say "Her-ferds". It drives me crazy!!
