Wow, well I guess they'll get plenty of air! So, they have 4 holes total... I'm making a coolerbator this week, so I'll keep that in mind.

I use a silicone funnel with a swizzle-straw attached to it to fill the water up during lockdown, as well as the rest of the time to keep the temps steady. I am using a HovaBator with 2 holes in the top for ventilation. I got the humidity up to 90% at one point by using warm water, but it stayed around 70% when I filled up 3 of the trays.
Are you using circulated air or no fan?
Only at the end
Yeah, I use a funnel and aquarium tubing.... that's a cool idea, I wouldn't think of it myself, read it on BYC.... I do have a cpu fan mounted where it blows the across the bulb and thermostat.
I put 2 sponges in the cake pan, standing up against the side of the bator, it seems to be holding at 68-72%. When I top off the pan, I use really warm water. The temp is holding at 99-100.
Maybe it'll hold...
Oh, ok. I worry too much about suffocating mine!
