How do you seperate feed?

I am getting ready to add 2 9 week old pullets in with my 1 yo hens. How do I feed the young ones grower feed and the older ones layer feed? Won't they all eat both?

Having never had this problem, the only solution I can think of is to feed them all grower feed and offer the laying hens some oyster shell on the side.

Thanks Gritsar! I didn't know something like that could work. I already offer the girls oyster shell free choice, will the younger ones not eat it if they don't need it?

Nope, the hens that need it will take it. I leave a pile of oyster shell out for my hens all the time. I have never seen my rooster eat from it either.​
