HOW do you show chickens?

It's amazing how fast those ropes and boards disappear isn't it? Sonoran I would have

Same here, except for one show that I know of. At that one, as soon as the judge is on the grounds, they give you 15-20 minutes warning to finish up before they clear the aisles of owners and bring the judge into the building. After that it's hands-off until the judge is done or be DQed. Spectators can still watch from the next aisle over, but you're not to do or say anything the judge might see or overhear. Something about keeping owners 100% anonymous so as not to influence the judge's decision. Don't know if there were past disputes and this was their solution. There are many other ways for judge's to discern owners, so I can't say how effective it is, but it doesn't matter to me either way.
