How do you spoil your chickens?

View attachment 1118496 Mine are only 10 weeks old but I chop up leftover not so fresh veggies and fruit and top with fresh mealworms that are in wheat bran.....they love it I feel a little like Mortisha from The Adams Family....maybe that's what I will be for Halloween LOL

My girls enjoy watching me work digging and hauling dirt for their dustbath. They thanked me by laying eggs in it.

My mom throws sunflower seeds out for the doves and wild birds. But who eats them? Chickens. Makes their feathers shiny, though.

If you want to see your flock go completely nuts over something and spend hours absorbed in it, get them a flock block.

I spoil my flock with a treat tray almost every day. I put a big assortment of fruits, veggies, meal worms and some scratch and nuts. The first thing they go for are the cherry tomatoes and watermelon rinds if I have them.

I let them free range and give treats once a week.....
