How do you store your chicken supplies?

20 acres of land... I wish. I have 1/3 acre and probably just as much in taxes. Also in Illinois, but in Chicago suburbs. I would love to have just 5 acres even one day.
Talk about space to store feed... I sure could find somewhere on 20 acres.

That’s neat, I’m three hours west of Chicago. 5 acres is a great size!! Haha, yeah you’d think on 20 acres I’d find somewhere for my chicken crap, the problem is that it’s hayfields, hills and woods, and we don’t actually have the funds for a barn right now. I also am picky about what goes in the yard. We hide all our junk behind a propane tank

It's Talenti gelato. I'm not shilling for the company but I've tried various ice creams/gelatos in plastic containers and they have the best container haha.

I don't store my feed because I buy it weekly and so I fill the feeders and it lasts the birds for a week but I go through 300 to 400 lbs weekly but I have a lot of birds. I do store my treats, scratch grains and seeds, in a large metal trash can in my barn.

Seriously, how many chickens do you have? Do you leave the feeders in the coop or run? I'm just wondering if you're feeding more than just chickens. If you don't have at least 130-170 birds you have a few more pets that you aren't aware of! If you do have that many chooks.....I am so green with envy.

I have hanging feeders in all of my coops. I had a rat infestation in one coop but modified it and got rid of the rats.

In the pantryam I the only one that buys 500 pounds of chicken feed at a time.

Yes, you are the only one that buys 500 lbs at a time. I usually buy 4 bags, which is only 200 lbs at a time!
