We can only get back to 1680 Maryland Colony on my dad's line. Can't seem to get across the pond. We figure that he came either from Wales or Scotland.

My mother has a couple of lines that go back to bible times.... many royalty lines. I have about 31,000 people in my PAF database that are all related... to me. (or my wife)

My wife and I found that we are 9th cousins... goes back to 1700 England.

by way of last names I can say my grandfathers family goes back to Mary Queen of Scotts but I dont have that traced in lines. I do know my great grand mothers parents came from Italy, she was born here but her sister was born in NY harbor on the boat. Her uncles came first but we cant trace that because they came illegally into Canada then into the US to get out of being forced into the army. My great grandfathers family I dont know when they came because they were Pennsylvania Dutch is all I know. My other side I dont know much about but I do know the farm where my grandmother and dad live goes back to my grandfathers grandparents. My aunt did some genealogy but only got so far and so much info on the Italian side

if you know what I mean.

OneGreatFamily was how I went all the way to the prophet Nehemiah on my mom's side. I have over 88,000 in their database. I can never download the whole thing because it's too big. Elinor and Henry were my greatgrandparents on 3 lines and their grandson Edward l was my grandfather through 8 children. Both my mom's parents share all those lines. My grandfather's mom comes from Brigadier General John Sevier of Tenessee. 1st and 6 time Govenor. That was way cool. I bet alot of us are related and don't even know.

I know I go back as far as the incredible evil Reverend Increase Mather, instigator of the Sale witch trials.... Before that it goes back to John Smith and Pocahontas. My grandmother who passed away 15 years ago was the last Mather on our side....

Don't feel bad, I have too many meanies to count. Including the biggest evil one of all John Hawkins, who started the English slave trade. He's the only one I can honestly say I'm ashamed of. All the royals were just doing what they thought was a good job. History is subjective. Hey, Deb , now you know why I'm such a history buff. A little bragging Attilla the Hun great uncle 42 times removed. No wonder we're all so bossy in my family.
