They just showed that Obama is only ahead by 1500 votes in Ohio. It does seem a little early.

I was not expecting it to end this quickly. I am so happy. I am sorry to the other BYCers who hate Obama, I am not trying to rub this in your face. I think Obama won because republicans have done nothing in the past few years... they have spent more time trying to make our president fail than they have trying to fix things. Obama wins tonight, I look forward to his second term. Perhaps Mitch McConnell will make it his number one priority to make Obama a two-term president.

I also ate cookies I shouldn't have... but between the wine and how nervous the election was making me (still is now that I have heard the 1500 vote lead thing), I lost my resolve and ate cookies. Bad Bad Me! (I mean RHRanch.... LOL) (I am talking about myself in the third person, better lay off the wine also!)

The numbers are very close in Ohio, but I don't think Obama needs Ohio. It looks like he is going to win Virginia, which was predicted for Romney, and he is about 40-50,000 votes ahead in Florida. For both of those states, the final tallies might not be in for days.

It does look like Romney is ahead in the popular election, but there is so much left to count, that those results may change too.
