welp, good news, the second chick to hatch is doing good, it has roommates of the sorts, my almost 7 week old pullets and my cockerel. I have a setup to where I have a brooder coop with it's own run that sits in my chicken's run. There is a door to the coop that I closed, since it's broken, so the older chicks hang out in the run while my little surviving chick is in the coop, so it has company, but they can't get to the chick incase they get territorial or decide to trample the thing.
Another question, is when I should give up on the remaining 8 eggs? they are currently 4 days late, but then again, the surviving chick, I've named chance, was 3 days late, and the weak chick 1 day late.
