How long after they start to lay do the eggs get to there Normal size?

Hi, some of my Chicks started to lay about a week ago, I am just wondering when they will start to increase in size and get to teh size they will be Normally, Right now they are the size of Guinea Eggs. Thanks

It takes a month to six weeks for most to reach good size. If they are going to lay a larger egg regularly it will take a little longer. Last years hens were laying large eggs by two months. The extra large started to show up regularly a month later.
