How long should I treat spradle leg??

Its been 3 days now and all the little dude does is chirp his head off and picks at the vet wrap. Thats what I'm using. Seems it would be softer then a bandaid. Hes a bantam too so I can cut it to size. I've changed it daily but he is still not stanging upright... Seems to be getting a little sturdier, maybe..
