How long till my 20 week old leghorn starts to lay?

FWIW, I've never had the leghorns or andalusians squat when they got close, just the brown-egg layers squatted for me.

I'd say about a week, as the comb isn't flopping over yet. The majority of my white leghorns started a little after 20 weeks.

My guess is a couple weeks! My Wyandotte reddened up around 18 weeks though, and she hasn’t laid. Probably 2-3 weeks (or less!)
