How long will eggs keep for eating?

I know Miss Prissy said once that she saved her eggs for quite a while so she could peel them for deviled eggs. but I don't remember how long.

There are many ways to store eggs.. you can lay them out on a cookie sheet and wax paper and make powdered eggs, as another poster said, you can scramble them and freeze them. You can dip them in wax and store them almost indefinatly, you can also pickle them, and keep them a very long time that way as well. I find dipping them in parifan wax when Im over loaded in the summer, gives me plenty of eggs to use in the winter when they aren't laying as well, or its so cold eggs freeze and break before I find them.
I also like mine pickled in beet juice.. but Im weird

As long as you haven't washed off the pelicle and keep them in the fridge, you can easily go 4-5 months.
