How long can fresh, unfertilized eggs sit at room temp (on counter for instance) and still be good to eat? How long in the refrigerator? Looking for a general ball-park time frame. Thanks!!

If your kitchen is warm don't let them sit out for longer than a week or 2. They'll still be O.K. to eat, but they'll go stale quickly.
Eggs in the fridge can stay quite edible for up to 2 months, I hear, but it's better you store them in an egg carton to reduce moisture loss and keep unwanted flavours out.

Two months in the fridge? that's awesome! I store them in the egg cartons we saved from store bought eggs, they go in the fridge right away so far.
