How many chickens can you have?

We have 10 acres, 69 chickens, 5 Guineas, & a Turkey.

We have between 90 and 140 chickens (eggs are hatching, moving some along, numbers are changing by the week right now), 1 special needs turkey and 12, soon to be 11 coturnix quail

Yeah, it's like 5 is enough for a family....but nowhere near enough for a chicken keeper. I didn't even want chickens....my wife created a chicken monster in me.

Limited only by 30 acres and my willingness to build coops for them. (Shuttered) factory farms all around me, I share their zoning - so if I wanted to build big quonset huts with monster fans at either end, and shove them full of birds, i could.

50-60 birds is my current comfort zone - though I have housing for more.

I know there’s different rules depending on where you live. I was wondering if you guys have the max amount of chickens allowed in your area, or more or less?

Honestly I have no idea how many we’re allowed to have...
We have 4 chickens (6 ducks and 2 goats).

One neighbor has 17 chickens (they had 26 at one point) and another has 65ish (down from 85)

We can have as many as we want, but our coop can only fit around 15. We have 14.
