Couldn't do a search, it overloaded the system!
We have 5 mature hens now with 15 2 week old cornish, soon to be butchered in a few weeks, 12 2 week old varying pullets.
Just wondering about overall numbers. I'm afraid I've become a chicken hoarder.

I have 20 right now, but 7 of them are meat birds who will only be around for another 2 weeks. I am allowed to have 14 hens, no roosters on my property.

5 hens
2 chicks in the brooder. One that is a week or so old the other is younger.
Two Self Blue DUccle on the way.

edited to ad: I am within city limits and am not allowed any livestock on my property. Darn good thing my chickens are pets

Counting the 5 two week olds in the house, I have exactly 99 chickens.

That number will be decreasing over the next month as about 20 of the 4 and 5 year olds in the laying flock have been selected for stewing hens.
