My girls are just reeling from the heat this summer but I managed to get an egg before the crows did ..

It's chilly where we are. But the hens are still all going broody. Silly girls. Most of them are on their third clutch now!!!! This includes a Wyandotte, what I assume to be a Red Star mix, and a Sebright mix.

Well I got a chicken egg and I have a duck sitting on a nest under the bushes so I have no idea haw many eggs are in her clutch .

Ho what a morning it is ....... yep I found a nest of three goose eggs and I was making so much noise about them geese having a dry year
